Our handmade English Ash end grain engraved chopping boards can be engraved on front or back making them ideal as a meaningful and useful gift and they look amazing as well.

Made with English Ash from trees which are felled as part of a sustainable forestation on a private country estate, the trees are logged to my specification and kilned just for me.

Hand assembled the boards measure 576mm x 276mm x 60mm thick, this is the most popular size, both sides of the board can be used, this is a functional end grain chopping board for daily kitchen use and will last a lifetime.
The handles at either end make the board easy to move, easy to clean, no corners and allow the board to be used either side, comes finished in oil ready to use, the board is soaked in oil for a few days to ensure excellent impregnation into the wood fibres.
The boards are end grain, a mini version of the traditional butchers shop boards, end grain is the hardest wearing part of the wood.
